Michelle is a bookworm whose love for books reaches insane levels, to the point that she fills up the home she shares with her sisters with enough books to cause a book slide whenever someone opens the door, and often forgets about saving money for the basic needs of life. In episode 1, she even mentions the Harry Potter series as her favorite books, and I assume she has read them all because R.O.D the TV ends in the year 2007, the same year when HP7 was published.

Comment here with your character and the book series he/she comes from, and what you want Michelle to know about him/her. Alternately, if you don't want Michelle to recognize your character, just say so!

Claudius here is from I, Claudius and Claudius the God by Robert Graves, although of course he was also a real historical person. She is welcome to fourth wall him, since he doesn't really grok what "fiction" is as a literary genre and will probably just assume that he got around to writing his autobiography, and that's what she's talking about.

HARRY POTTER CHARACTER HERE and gosh I don't mind if she recognizes him but... do you think we can work something out where she doesn't say HEY YOU ARE FROM A BOOK? I don't mind if she knows he's a book character (especially since it's canon for her to know) but I'm iffy on him being told he's a book character (if that makes sense?)

yes sure! or she could even recognize him totally for who/what he is, and to herself think like HEY THERE ARE HP CHARACTERS HERE, since it's so canon for her to know of HP. just so long as she doesn't tell him his whole history & meta the hell out of him and make him cry 8)

UHHH so AM is from a short story - I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream by Harlan Ellison.

I'm not exactly sure how much I want her to recognize him. Obviously she wouldn't recognize how he looks since he's human here, but she might think his name sounds familiar or something? Who knows. I'm still keeping AM's status on the DL for now. Only a select few on the ship know more about his true nature (with Ted knowing all of it).

Um, I don't mind if Michelle doesn't recognize him at all or remember him. Just let me know when you're okay with her beginning to realize that there are some coincidences ohohoho.

Ted here is the other guy from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, and I don't mind if she knows about him! He's convinced the Tranquility and everyone on it is one big, elaborate illusion, so someone claiming to know his life is not going to be particularly life-shattering. I don't think she'd recognize him just by looking at him, since Ted is never physically described in the story, unless she's played a delightfully retro computer game adaptation lately.

Nope, I doubt she's into computer games, so Michelle may not get the connection. That's fine though! At most she'll think of coincidences.
